Quilts in varying sizes, colours & designs are donated BuT we usually find young adult male quilts are always in need.
The suggested size for them is 54/60inch wide by 60/70inch in length- no larger.
As a guide ONLY, other sizes could be:
Community quilts @ no larger than 60 x 70inch please.
Lap quilts @ 40inch x 60inch (fits on 42inch wide fabric as backing).
For wheel chairs - small @ 35" square, medium @ 36" x 40" & large @ 40" x 40" with lower 2 corners cut off & in both adult & child fabrics.
JHH... children's cots @ 24inch x 30inch.
We usually have "batting" available too... & sometimes backing fabric.

We are always in need of volunteers for the actual quilting of donations.
Simple straight line quilting is perfectly acceptable too.
Other volunteers are needed for simply adding the binding.
We have lots of ready made labels to add as well.
Sometimes "kits" are available for the making of quilts too .
