Exhibition 2014 - Slideshow

There were hundreds of quilts in the show and at least that many photos. You can view the images by watching the slideshow below or you can click on the Exhibition 2014 link to view individually in high resolution.

I tried to get the images in order so that the label was next to it, but Picasa had it's own ideas. I left the background on the labels which should help match up quilts with labels.
Clicking on an image in the slideshow takes you to the original of that image.

Saturday - 20 September Meeting

The following quilts were submitted as part of the Diamond Challenge. This required the use of a specific shape (diamond) and fabric. 















Lots of busy fingers throughout the room.

Saturday Meeting - 16 August 2014

  Our Churn Dash Swap ladies hard at work!!

 The technique class well underway.

 Busy doing hand work.

 A very long term UFO nearly done. Only a bit of hand quilting to go. Hopefully this one will be in the Exhibition his year.


A wonderful top! Many different hexagon blocks in this one.


Simple but very effective with a lovely collection of Aboriginal design fabrics.


A table runner from last months technique class. Always great to have a finish.

Saturday Meeting - 19 July 2014

Lots of people this week, even though it was VERY cold.


 Above is a bright and cheery quilt as you go project in progress.


 A very bright and cheery quilt made from swap blocks by Kathy, which will be donated to Community Quilts for distribution.


 The one above and below are the same quilt!!! The samplers side is the back. How could you decide which side to use!! They are both stunning.
