Saturday - 21 February 2015 Meeting

Another great meeting, with a slightly bigger turn out. I think most people have now recovered from the Christmas/New Year period!!

Community Quilts

Some more great quilts to be given to people who need a bit of a pick up. The Windmill blocks were pre-cut and distributed to members who then sewed them up and returned them for construction into quilts. They all turned out great, hard to pick a favourite!!

Tiffany made up her nine patch swap blocks into this gorgeous quilt, with an equality stunning backing.

Saturday - 17 January Meeting

It seems that everyone had recovered from the holidays and was ready to get back to quilting!! Community Quilts were off to a flying start this year with a heap ready to be bound and distributed.

These lovely 1930's repro blocks were made up by individual members and then sewn up into these two lovely Community Quilts.

A lovely baby quilt made in flannels.

This completed quilt was donated by a member, what a great boys quilt!!

This is a long term project by Cathie Calvert that she is happy to have finished!!
Is it wrong that I like the back better!!

Saturday - 13 December 2014 Meeting

A smaller than usual turnout this month, but lots of people were very busy getting ready for Christmas and travelling. Still some fabulous finished quilts from the Saturday ladies.

Tuesday - 9 December 2014 Meeting

Lots of lovely creations from the Tuesday group ladies. During this meeting a demo of the new Accuquilt machine was given.
